About
Laura (they/them) is a professional dancer and choreographer with over a decade of experience. Raised in Vancouver, then relocated to Los Angeles, where they appeared in feature films, music videos, and national commercial campaigns.
Back home in Vancouver, Laura brings a bold artistic voice and intentional movement choices into every class. As both an educator and performer, they are passionate about creating a safe and inclusive environment for students of all ages and positionalities to explore the benefits of dance.

Out of all the dance classes/drop ins/workshops I’ve ever done, I have to say Laura’s have been my favourite. They have an incredible teaching style that makes you feel welcome, empowered and confident. Their energy is infectious and you not only go to the class to learn new choreography/stay fit, but you go to be taught specifically by them, as it’s always a good time. If you’re new to dancing, you couldn’t be in better hands. Thank you for the fun, support and encouragement in class!

I have already written a review, but I get a review prompt after every class, to which i say: don't tempt me. i will write one every time; i have *that* much to say! Laura is not just a dance teacher. she's like a dance whisperer or something. Dance doctor. Their classes are actually medicine.

Five stars is not enough. Laura's empathetic and inclusive approach touches my heart and I feel blessed just to know them. I never thought I would be dancing in my 40's having basically zero experience but they breaks things down in ways that are palatable and can meet a person where they are at. Laura's offering has changed my life in the best ways possible. ❤️✨🙏🥹
